Club D is an event run by Derwent College. It takes place in the bar-dining room and is usually held three times per term. Frequently the event sells out of tickets early in the evening.

The music is a mix of chart and cheese.

Each Club D has a theme, chosen by Derwent JCRC Entertainment Officers. Previous themes for Club D have included Slag N' Drag, Heaven And Hell, Christmas D, Chav D, Rags To Riches, Beach Party, St Patrick's Day, Back to School. To celebrate the 40th Birthday of Derwent College in October 2005, a special Club D was held as the culmination of celebratory events. The theme was Club Decades.
