Graduate Students' Association (GSA)

The Graduate Students Association (GSA) is the body which represents postgraduate students at the University of York. Like most University committees' it is represented by an Executive body (the Exec). This includes 3 part-time sabbatical officers who are elected in the summer term, and a number of non-sabbatical posts who are elected in the autumn term.

York is one of two Universities' in the country which gives equal status to the Students Union YUSU and the GSA.

The GSA consists of 12 elected officers; 3 Part-time Paid Sabbaticals, 9 volunteers and representatives of Graduate Committees.
