The Maths Society is a new society for 2007.

York University Maths Society (or YUMS for short) is an active collection of maths loving students from all areas of the university. The hold regular society type events (like bar crawls, quiz nights and movie evenings) and organise lectures from departmental and visiting mathematicians. See their website for further details.
