British journalist who now writes for the Mail on Sunday but spent 24 years as a reporter for the Daily Express. When at York in the early 1970s he studied politics and claims there is no truth in the story that he arrived to a lecture late with the excuse that he had been "too busy starting the revolution". Some of his more interesting views include being opposed to sex education in schools and seeing evolution as speculative and unfalsifiable.
