York Student Cinema (YSC), provides cinematic entertainment, run by the students, for students. YSC brings to campus films from all walks of life around the globe, from the star studded blockbusters to the understated obscurity. From fact or fiction, action to drama, comedy and romance. Situated in P/X/001 in the Physics and Electronics building, YSC is one of the top student cinemas in the UK, with a high quality 35mm projector and full Dolby Digital Surround Sound.

Films are shown on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at 7.30pm with doors opening at 6.45pm, in P/X/001. Admission is £3.
