York University Media (aka. YUM) comprises all of the University's student media outlets:
- Nouse
- York Vision
- University Radio York (URY)
- York Student Television (YSTV)
YUM is an affiliate of YUSU and sends its chair to the fortnightly senate meetings to represent the views and interests of campus media. The YUM committee is comprised of a chair, a treasurer, a YUMAs officer and a secretary.
The committee, along with the editors and station managers of the media outlets, settles the £21 000 budget for the media.
In 2007 YUM took part in the discussions surrounding and the break-up of the print dates for the student newspapers, although no conclusion was reached.
